Overhead glazing
Overhead glazing creates a delightful interplay between light and shadow. The roof angle and the size and arrangement of the cell grids create different light effects, each with its own charm.
Cold or warm facade insulating glass design
Tailor-made glass-glass solar modules are particularly suitable for facades, sunshading, overhead glazing and balustrades. Glass-glass solar modules meet all of the design requirements for glass facades and can be integrated into all standard glass building systems, such as post / bolt systems.
Balustrades
As with overhead glazing, there are also aspects of balcony glazing and other glazing elements that require safeguarding to prevent possible accidents. They are summarized in the “Technical regulations for the use of accident-proof glazing – TRAV” (Technische Regel für die Verwendung von absturzsichernden Verglasungen). Generally a distinction is made between insulation glazing with heat absorption function and pure laminated glass for accident-proof applications, e.g. balcony and loggia balustrades. In consideration of these rules, these glass elements can also be made of crystalline solar cells and integrated accordingly in the aesthetic appearance and function of the building.
Sunshading
Solar modules not only „capture“ sunlight, but can also protect against the sun. Solar sunshading systems are thus key elements in an increasingly glazed, transparent architecture, while minimizing the cooling loads at the same time. In addition to shading created by the solar glass facades or overhead glazing, various systems can be applied.
Colored solar cells
This is just a small selection of our range – there are no limits to your individual requests regarding shape, size, type of solar cell, transparency, solar cell color, all the way to the color and transparency of the front and rear glass panels. We are experts in all refinement technologies that are already successfully used in the glass industry.

BIPV (building integrated photovoltaics) represent the intelligent combination of aesthetics, CO2-free power generation and protection from the elements. It is precisely this combination that makes solar panels on facades and roofs so attractive. Architecturally integrated photovoltaics not only complement classic building materials, but also replace them.
